Fulton County Library – Mini Maker Space & Pop-Up Library– Time: Sunday 11 amStop by the Pop-Up

Library to check out maker, DIY, and STEAM books. During our demonstration we will be utilizing library STEAM equipment including a 3D Printer, a magnet machine, a button machine, and a hands on sticker art project. We will also have a life size Rigamagig building set. Come read, play and create with the public library!

Yarn Goddess– Time: Sunday 12:00 pm

Crocheting is so much more than a hobby our grandmother taught us – it’s a form of art, try your hand at learning the craft with our yarn and needles to make your own creations, including cosplay and clothing like the host.

The Gwinnett County Public Library– Time: Sunday 1 pm

We will demonstrate how to create projects with Arduinos and/or Raspberry Pis, 3D printers, and programmable robots. We will also bring our various Snap Circuits, Little Bits, and Kano kits, as well as our button maker. Visit our Young Makers workshop this weekend to make a circuit bug or a sound spinner!


Scraplanta– Time: Sunday 2:00 pm

Scraplanta is a non-profit collecting discarded materials for arts and crafts. During our demonstration we will be utilizing recycled materials and creating kaleidoscopes. This hands on activity will support in exploring light, reflections and symmetry. Come see how everyday materials can be reused!


Clayton County Library– Time: Sunday 3 pm

Join us for a lively discussion on forthcoming library resources including our Hotspot Lending Program, state of the art Makerspace equipment, Grow with Google partnership and view our sizzle video highlighting our additional offerings.


Decatur Makers– Time: Sunday 4 pm

Design and make paper helicopters and wooden launchers with Decatur Makers. These paper creations will defy gravity and fly high with just a flick of the wrist.

Darryl has been woodworking for over 20 years with a dedication for wood turning. Now focused on sharing his knowledge with others through social media, encouraging the passion of creation and art.


Anthony Aragues– Time: Sunday 1:00 pm

JasperBoard is a development toolkit that is easy to use for simple things but is designed to be expanded for various small robotics, wearables and props uses. We will walk through its components possibilities and simple programming from a point and click website. There are units for purchase and a small project to personalize and explore more for anyone that wants to take one home.

The Urban Forge with Tim Cunningham– Time: Sunday 2 pm

Blacksmithing and Community. It’s about my journey in blacksmithing, and the groups of blacksmiths that help keep the craft/art going. Learn about the skills and craft of Blacksmithing and also bring your questions!

Hackberry: Soldering– Time: Sunday 3:00 pm

Learn a special kind of soldiering good for almost all ages. Makers will be able to try placing a board and watching it get finished in an oven, all in one place.


Chris Goode, Electric Guitars and Amps– Time: Sunday 4 pm

Chris Goode builds guitars and amps and he’s going to share his work and answer questions about his process.
